A highlight of the new features available right across the range is the powerful yet supremely smooth 3.5 litre V6 24 Valve MPI engine. Developing 147KW of power it's especially at home in the exciting Magna Sports 3.5 sedan. Coupled to a highly responsive 5 speed manual transmission, or optional Mitsubishi Sports Mode automatic transmission, it delivers truly exhilarating performance. ABS brakes and independant multi-link rear suspension enhance safety and provide a level of ride comfort unusual in a car with such agility and precise handling. Also available with Sports Mode automatic transmission is Mitsubishi's Traction Control (TCL) System which regulates engine output to match the traction requirements of the driving wheels, helping to accelerate away smoothly.
